Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• 3+ years manufacturing engineering experience.
• Lean manufacturing, cell design and line balancing preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop capacity models from time studies and downtime analysis.
• Design work-cell layouts to promote flow and efficiency.
• Analyze processes to remove waste and improve productivity.
• Create flexible workstations for seasonal demand.
• Balance lines and determine required labor.
• Define work content per cell and standard visual work.
• Specify materials needed at each work cell.
• Ensure training and materials for new cells are provided.
• Analyze ergonomic risk and mitigate it.
• Maintain layout in AutoCAD.
