Job summary

Perry Ellis International, Inc. is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer at our corporate headquarters in Doral, Florida.

You will analyze and improve distribution, warehousing, and supply chain processes using data-driven methods to boost efficiency and reduce costs. The role requires 3–5 years of experience in industrial engineering, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and Lean/Six Sigma certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of industrial engineering experience in apparel, retail, distribution, or FMCG.
• Lean or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.
• Proficiency with WMS and ERP software.
• Advanced data analysis using Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Strong AutoCAD or layout design experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end warehousing, logistics, and distribution processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design, test, and implement streamlined workflows and SOPs to maximize throughput and minimize waste.
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish labor standards and performance benchmarks.
• Evaluate current facility layouts and optimize inventory storage, slotting, and material handling.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations to integrate and optimize WMS and other automation.
• Justify and manage CapEx projects related to new equipment, automation, or facility upgrades.
• Develop and maintain operational KPIs and dashboards for leadership.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S initiatives and partner with cross-functional teams.
