Job summary

Perry Ellis International, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Industrial Engineer to analyze production and operations within our Seneca, SC facility. You will collect data, perform time studies, and support layout optimization to improve productivity and reduce costs.

Responsibilities include creating SOPs, supporting Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborating with production, quality, maintenance and supply chain teams. Strong Excel and data analysis skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, or process improvement.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with CAD software, ERP systems, or statistical software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Assist in developing methods to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Conduct time studies and work measurement analyses.

  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions.
  • Assist with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, charts, and presentations for management.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Monitor KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
