Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or similar roles.
• Experience in plastic molding & assembly preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or similar certification preferred.
• Dynamic communication / inter-personal skills
• Must have demonstrable technical presentation skill.
• Superb computer literacy, including MS Office, CAD and SAP.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau)
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of ISO14001 and IATF standards, as applicable to the position.

Responsibilities

• Optimize processes to match tooling, equipment and facility requirements.
• Develop efficient production lines that utilize operators and robotics.
• Contribute to successful product launches and CI initiatives.
• Lead Lean Continuous Improvement projects and problem-solving processes.
• Facilitate training and workshops on operational excellence principles.
• Evaluate CI activities and implement plans to optimize performance.
• Gains exposure to complex tasks within the job function.
