Job summary

Generac seeks an Industrial Engineer II to drive continuous improvement across the entire value chain and implement enterprise standards for policy, procedure, and process documentation. You will lead and coordinate initiatives to optimize plan, source, make, deliver, and service processes.

The role includes leading New Product Introductions in operations, facility transformation, lean initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to improve manufacturing methods and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or industrial technology.
• 3–5 years related experience in engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD tools: AutoCAD, SolidWorks and/or ProE.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives across the value chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver & Service).
• Coordinate successful NPIs within operations.
• Develop area layouts and justify equipment investments.
• Deploy Generac tools, standards, practices and processes.
• Collaborate with shop floor to improve manufacturing methods.
• Ensure synchronized product, material and information flows.
