Job summary

Experis is seeking an Industrial Engineer II for our distribution and logistics client in Forest City, Iowa. You will support warehouse management and process improvement initiatives, applying analytical skills to identify opportunities and drive efficiency.

Responsibilities include designing staffing models, coordinating process improvements, maintaining labor standards, and collaborating with DCs and store support groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process design and distribution network operations.
• Lean Six Sigma exposure or certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement within the distribution network.
• Coordinate and manage the implementation of process improvements and best practices.
• Establish and maintain engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs.
• Support and communicate with store support groups and Distribution Centers (DCs).
• Build staffing planning models and assist in metrics development for supply chain management.
