Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join the Distribution Operations team, focusing on warehouse management and process improvements. Location is Forest City, Iowa with a pay rate of $25/hr, and a potential for contract extension beyond initial 3 months in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, experience with WMS or SAP, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and knowledge of distribution network

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process design and distribution network operations.
• Lean Six Sigma exposure or experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement within the distribution network.
• Coordinate and manage the implementation of process improvements and best practices.
• Establish and maintain engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs.
• Support and communicate with store support groups and Distribution Centers (DCs).
• Build staffing planning models and assist in metrics development for supply chain management.

Our client, a leader in distribution and logistics, is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join their team. As an Industrial Engineer II, you will be part of the Distribution Operations team supporting warehouse management and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
