Job summary

ManpowerGroup client is seeking an Industrial Engineer II to join the Distribution Operations team, focusing on warehouse management and process improvements. Location is Forest City, Iowa with a pay rate of $25/hr, and a potential for contract extension beyond initial 3 months in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering field, experience with WMS or SAP, strong analytical/problem-solving skills, and knowledge of distribution network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process design and distribution network operations.
• Lean Six Sigma exposure or experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identify, quantify, and communicate opportunities for improvement within the distribution network.
• Coordinate and manage the implementation of process improvements and best practices.
• Establish and maintain engineered labor standards and performance incentive programs.
• Support and communicate with store support groups and Distribution Centers (DCs).
• Build staffing planning models and assist in metrics development for supply chain management.
