Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking an Industrial Engineer contractor for a 100% onsite role in San Antonio, TX. The position focuses on documenting time standards, optimizing production stability, and supporting lean initiatives across manufacturing and related operations.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering or higher, experience with time studies, and exposure to manufacturing environments. Regular attendance is required, with OT as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environments preferred.
• Experience performing work observations and time studies.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic Industrial Engineering concepts to improve manufacturing, engineering and service operations.
• Develop models, data bases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide metrics for customers.
• Support design, process improvement, and lean initiatives across product lifecycles.
• Analyze value streams including capacity, lead times, and logistics to improve efficiency.
