Job summary

DDR Heating, Inc., part of Thermowatt and the Ariston Group, seeks an Industrial Engineering & HSE Specialist for its Allegan, MI site. You will oversee industrialization of new products and ensure Health, Safety & Environmental compliance across operations.

You will review ECNs, collaborate with R&D on manufacturing tech, optimize production methods, and lead HSE activities, including ISO 45001/14001 initiatives and incident investigations. Strong engineering background required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
• Able to read technical drawings and CAD proficiency.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in managing HSE activities and interacting with all levels.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate ECNs issued by R&D to define their implementation in production.
• Collaborate with R&D in selecting and defining manufacturing technologies and processes.
• Analyse and optimise production methods and cycle times to improve efficiency.
• Liaise with external suppliers for design and construction of production equipment.
• Develop and prepare layouts for new production line installations.
• Ensure successful production start-up in line with project timelines.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to identify effective technical solutions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and new product development activities.
