Job summary

Hadrian is hiring an EHS Engineer to support safety operations as it scales a 2.25 million square foot manufacturing facility. You will build safe, scalable processes around welding, additive manufacturing, casting and forging, partnering with engineers to ensure safety is designed in from the start.

You will lead safety controls, SOPs, hazard analyses, and training, while ensuring OSHA and local regulatory compliance in a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environments.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, California, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Technical knowledge of hazards associated with welding, metal additive manufacturing, casting, forging, and fabrication processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence across all levels.
  • Ability to assess risk in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where procedures may not exist yet.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing EHS programs and engaging cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineering controls, administrative procedures, and PPE programs for each process in Factory 4.
  • Partner with engineers to integrate safety by design into new workflows and equipment commissioning.
  • Lead or support incident reporting, investigation, and corrective actions for safety incidents.
  • Author and maintain safety procedures, SOPs, and risk assessments for F4 operations.
  • Conduct hazard assessments for new equipment and processes prior to operation.
  • Deliver safety training on process-specific hazards and controls.
  • Provide field feedback to improve EHS program usability and effectiveness across the company.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and local requirements across welding, additive manufacturing, casting, forging, and fabrication.
