Job summary

Exol seeks an Industrial Engineer focused on fulfillment systems and capacity planning. You will own the logic that governs work flow across automated and manual areas, driving systematization and automation within our WMS and supporting tools.

This execution‑oriented role reports to the Warehouse Optimization Manager and is on‑site in Perris, CA. You will analyze data, support on‑the‑floor operations, and develop capacity models to improve throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of operations engineering experience in high-volume D2C/e-commerce fulfillment centers; strong preference for automation experience.
• Advanced technical skills with MS Office and BI tools for KPI reporting.
• Strong IE principles: labor standards, time studies, process mapping, line balancing.
• Experience leading automation deployments and multi-site transformations.
• Proactive, results-oriented mindset with ability to execute in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize wave strategies across automated and manual fulfillment processes.
• Coordinate with operations and transportation to align labor, capacity, and carrier needs; refine wave logic to improve throughput.
• Develop and manage capacity models across fulfillment operations (labor, equipment, throughput).
• Create planning scenarios; identify capacity constraints; drive scalable solutions for growth and peak demand.
• Lead configuration, testing, and optimization of wave and slotting logic with technology teams.
• Automate key planning and reporting processes and maintain scalable documentation.
• Develop performance reporting; analyze throughput and capacity gaps; translate findings into improvements.
• Support time studies and labor standards across multiple sites.
