Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering with 5 years’ experience in designing, analyzing, and optimizing facility operations.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in their field with at least 2 years in facility and equipment condition assessments.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to convey ideas at all levels of a diverse organization.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of insurance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses, IDs and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in facility and infrastructure inventories and assessments.
• Develop knowledge of Sustainment Management Systems (SMS) used to track equipment conditions.
• Provide equipment life cycle costing data for outyear maintenance planning.
• Apply Predictive, Preventive, and Reliability Centered Maintenance principles as appropriate.
• Create reports and optimization plans for systems and infrastructure.
• Support planning and design of projects affecting existing facilities and infrastructure.
• Conduct inspections and participate in pre-final/final project inspections.
