Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a General Maintenance Worker supporting Tinker Air Force Base located in Oklahoma City, OK.

The General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of structures or equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• Current state driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of valid insurance.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Must be available to work other shifts as directed, to include weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licenses/IDs/certifications.
• Ability to solve problems and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to changes in technology and applicable facility/infrastructure codes and standards.
• Familiarity with facility/infrastructure codes and standards, as applicable.
• Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional & courteous manner in diverse situations.
• Proficiency and knowledge of a variety of hand and power tools.
• Demonstrated working ability read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• The General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of structures or equipment requiring practical skill and knowledge in trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical, HVAC work.
• Replaces electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, filters and motors; patches holes, paints and repairs as needed; replaces damaged sheet rock and tiles; hangs doors and installs locks.
• Maintains daily work order log documenting inspections, maintenance and repair information, materials used and hours worked.
• Interfaces with customers and responsible for customer feedback as applicable.
• Operates motor vehicles per company policies; adheres to safety and environmental regulations.
• Wears PPE and maintains a safe work environment; follows health and safety rules.
• Performs other related duties as assigned and maintains confidentiality of company matters.
