Sunlight Batteries USA, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support lithium-ion battery manufacturing, driving safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency through process analysis and improvements.

You will optimize workflows, perform time studies, balance lines, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering to implement automation, welding, and robotics solutions. The role requires a Bachelor's in IE/Manufacturing, 1–2+ years' experience, and hands-on knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1–2+ years in manufacturing/industrial environment.
Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Analyze and optimize manufacturing workflows for lithium-ion battery assembly.
Conduct time studies, motion analysis, and line balancing to improve throughput.
Monitor OEE, cycle time, scrap, downtime, and productivity trends.
Design plant layouts and material flow for safe, efficient operations.
Support laser welding processes and automation; collaborate with maintenance and QA.
Maintain SOPs, BOMs, and SAP data; support process validation and change documentation.
Lead Lean and CI initiatives; perform root-cause analysis and CAPA.
Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
