Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support operations in Arlington, Texas, servicing automotive manufacturing and logistics. You will analyze and improve material flow, inventory management, and production support processes in a high-volume environment.

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer teams to design efficient layouts, PFEP methodologies, and standard work.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.
Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze and improve material flow, inventory movement, and production support processes.
Design and optimize warehouse layouts, storage locations, workstations, and assembly support areas.
Develop and maintain Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodologies.
Conduct time studies, labor analysis, and productivity evaluations.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer teams to support business objectives.
Develop reports, presentations, and performance metrics for management review.
