Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Experis is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Warren, MI to join the Engineering Department, supporting Manufacturing, Production, and Quality teams. You will analyze data, develop methods, plan operations, and coordinate quality activities to improve reliability and reduce costs.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and up to 2 years of related experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 0-2 years of Industrial Engineering or related manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, logistics, inventory control, and production coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with engineering software such as MS Project, MS Visual Basic, or ABAQUS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish quality and reliability objectives of finished products.
• Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to improve staff and facility utilization.
• Plan manufacturing and assembly operations while optimizing the use of personnel, materials, and resources.
• Coordinate quality control activities to resolve production issues, improve product reliability, and reduce costs.
• Design and optimize equipment, material flow, and workspace layouts to maximize operational efficiency.
