Job summary

Jobot, a long-standing automotive supplier in Plymouth, MI, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and refine processes, resolve production issues, and design tooling and fixtures. You will evaluate machinery requirements and participate in make-versus-buy decisions to improve quality and efficiency.

Demonstrated experience in CAD tools, process optimization, and lean manufacturing is essential, with strong collaboration across teams and suppliers. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine manufacturing processes to meet product specs.
• Analyze process flow and optimize layouts for efficiency.
• Lead projects from concept through execution with timelines and budgets.
• Support cost reductions through data-driven process improvements.
