What You’ll Do
- Utilize data analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develop metrics and reporting to optimize program and operational performance.
- Lead efforts as a Digital Transformation Champion to align goals with enterprise strategies.
- Create new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
- Analyze lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively.
- Build scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
- Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with executable plans given capacity constraints.
- Communicate requirements, planning, and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
- Must be available on-site to support manufacturing operations.
- Demonstrate solid written and verbal communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and presentation skills.
- Use Microsoft Office Excel, including macros, data mining, pivot tables, or data visualization software applications.
- Commit to ethics and compliance and collaborate in a team environment.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of industrial engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; or a master’s degree with 0+ years of related experience.
- Experience designing visualizations in Tableau.
- Experience with Digital Transformation.
- Knowledge of time studies, capacity modeling, SPC/control charts, and Process Capability Analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk).
- Experience with Visio or equivalent diagramming tools.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government secret clearance (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods.
- At least 1 year of demonstrated manufacturing experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing Methods, MES, SAP S/4 HANA Cloud ERP, SQL, Python, VBA, or other programming languages.
- Cross‑functional teamwork in manufacturing environments and 2+ years of leading project teams.
- Familiarity with mixed‑model manufacturing operations, workstation ergonomics, and agile project management.
