Job summary

ENPULSION is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join Production Technology, focusing on designing, optimizing, and scaling production processes to ensure safe, cost-effective operations in a space technology context.

You will drive industrialization, capacity planning, facility and layout design, and continuous improvement, collaborating with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, or Operations Excellence roles.
• Knowledge of operational excellence tools (Lean Thinking, 5S, SMED, Value Stream Analysis).
• Strong hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing industrialization, change management, or operational improvement projects.
• Experience in production process design, layout planning, and capacity management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing KPI analysis and operational performance monitoring.
• Experience in aerospace, electronics, high-tech manufacturing, or industrial production environments is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills; German language skills are considered a strong advantage.

Job Overview

ENPULSION is looking for an Industrial Engineer (f/m/x) to join our Production Technology department. In this role you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and scaling production processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing operations. The role drives industrialization activities, capacity planning, facility and layout design, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting the introduction of new products and process changes. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and external partners, the Industrial Engineer develops data-driven solutions that enhance productivity, improve process stability, and support operational excellence.

Your profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Manage Production Processes, designing safe and efficient production processes and managing capacity demand.

• Type of contract: Full time position with 38.5 hours/week Salary: The minimum base salary for this position starts at EUR 3,654.05 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 h/week), with a planned overpayment depending on your professional experience and qualifications.
