Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial electronic/electrical components and systems on site in Manhattan, KS.

You will develop electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and HMI software, test equipment under real operating conditions, and train maintenance staff while supporting lean and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in electrical field or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Be able to exercise continuous mental, visual, and audio attention.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical/electronic parts lists and schematics for new manufacturing equipment.
• Develops and improves programmable logic control ladder logic for new and existing equipment.
• Develops and improves human-machine interface software for new and existing equipment.
• Checks functioning of newly installed equipment to evaluate system performance under actual operating conditions.
• Train and develop Electronic Maintenance employees to achieve higher levels.
