Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an Electronics/Maintenance Technician to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and mediate industrial electronic components and systems at our Kansas facility.

You will develop electrical schematics, PLC ladder logic, and HMI software while ensuring safe, efficient operation and maintenance of equipment. Strong teamwork and safety commitment are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree in electrical field or equivalent.
• Previous experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication, sound decision making, and strong math, reading, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical/electronic parts lists and schematics for new manufacturing equipment.
• Develop PLC ladder logic and HMI software for new and existing equipment.
• Check functioning of installed equipment to evaluate performance under actual operating conditions.
• Train and develop Electronic Maintenance employees to achieve higher levels.
• Perform general maintenance including installation, troubleshooting and repair of hydraulics, pneumatics, welding and steam.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in daily tasks.
