Job summary

Flora Food Group operates a New Century, KS facility where Electronic Technicians work 12-hour shifts on rotation with every other weekend off. The starting pay is $37.31 per hour, with benefits after 90 days, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays, and referral bonuses.

The Electronic Technician role focuses on safe operation, maintenance and repair of machinery for margarine and spreads, using World Class Manufacturing methods to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

• Three years hands-on experience with up to 480 volts three phase.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting and networking.
• Ability to install conduit and perform basic electrical construction.
• Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Reading electrical and electronic prints; PID drawings.
• Able to troubleshoot electrical, electronic and mechanical problems.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by observing all safety rules, including lock out tag out.
• Maintain and fix machinery that processes margarine and spreads.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues with processing and packaging equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders.
