Job summary

Dempsey Uniform is seeking a full-time Industrial Electro-Mechanical Technician to keep our laundry equipment running safely and efficiently. You will troubleshoot, repair, and optimize washers, ironers, conveyors, boilers, and related systems in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience and strong electrical/mechanical skills, including PLCs and 480V three-phase systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or similar settings.
• Strong electrical and mechanical system knowledge including motors, controls, and 480V three-phase.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic.
• Experience using CMMS for work orders and records.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and steam systems.
• Read electrical schematics and ladder logic; install and maintain control wiring up to 480V three-phase.
• Perform preventive maintenance on washers, dryers, ironers, conveyors, boilers, and pumps.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in CMMS.
• Ensure safety policies and LOTO procedures are followed.
• Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Assist with installations, upgrades, and project work.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams; mentor junior technicians.
