Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a maintenance technician for 2nd shift (3pm - 11:30pm) in Omaha, NE. The role requires hands-on maintenance and repairs of buildings, facilities, and equipment, including hydraulic systems, electrical, plumbing and painting tasks.

You will work with other maintenance and production staff to troubleshoot issues and order parts as needed. Applicants must follow GMP and safety rules, wear PPE, and adapt to varying shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Follow GMP and safety rules.
• General maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Performs electrical, plumbing, painting tasks.
• Performs troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment, compressors, boiler and all other ancillary equipment.
• Research, select and order parts and supplies as necessary.
• Ability to work varying shifts, times, weekends and possible emergency situations.
• All other work as deemed appropriate by Supervisor, Manager, or Lead employees.
• Mechanical: Knowledge of belts, drives, sheaves, chain, etc.

Rate: $30 USD per hour

Description

This position is for 2nd shift 3pm - 11:30pm

• Follow all Plant and Safety Rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and wears Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) always.
• General Maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities and equipment
• General knowledge to troubleshoot hydraulic systems
• Performs a variety of work including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, painting tasks
• Performs troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment, compressors, boiler and all other ancillary equipment
• Works with other Maintenance and production employees to troubleshoot problems
• Research, select and order parts and supplies as necessary.
• Ability to work varying shifts, times, weekends and possible emergency situations

• Mechanical: General knowledge and troubleshooting skills for belts, drives, sheaves, chain, etc. any other general power transmission system
