Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to diagnose and repair complex machinery across the Belleville, MI plant. You will combine mechanical know-how, electrical troubleshooting, and welding skills to minimize downtime and sustain production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus an apprenticeship or equivalent maintenance experience.
• 2+ years general machine maintenance, including 1+ year with stamping presses and related equipment.
• 2+ years welding experience (manual and automated MIG).
• Robotic welding knowledge and material handling preferred; programming exposure is a plus.
• Fluency with manufacturing workflows, safety, and quality principles.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform scheduled PMs to keep production reliable.
• Interpret manuals, schematics, and work orders to identify faults and repair/replace parts.
• Test equipment and validate fixes by starting and testing machines.
• Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments; rewire motors and bearings.
• Inspect components for wear and misalignment; install control and flow devices.
• Maintain welding equipment and robotic cells; support preventive maintenance.
• Contribute to 8D problem solving for recurring issues.
• Uphold 5S, health and safety, and continuous improvement practices.
• Schedule and environment require flexibility for 24-hour operation.
