Job summary

Thompson Pipe Group seeks an experienced Electro-Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across our steel pipe production facility in Illinois. You will help minimize downtime, ensure equipment reliability, and uphold safety standards.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, proficiency with PLCs and motor drives, and the ability to read mechanical drawings. Shift: 5:00 AM–3:30 PM, full-time with overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an electrical technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and write in English; Spanish a plus.
• Experience with high/low voltage electricity and 3-phase motor circuits.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Install, start up and shut down equipment per safety procedures and OSHA.
• Advise operators on safe procedures and requirements.
• Diagnose and repair production and building equipment using diagnostic instruments.
• Work well with all levels of personnel and lead teams.
