Watco Electrician opportunity in Houston, TX 77015 at 14035 Industrial Rd. The Electrician installs, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical systems and equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E, and local codes.

Requires 4–5 years of electrical experience and a valid Journeyman Electrician license; valid driver's license and TWIC eligibility are needed. OSHA 10/30 preferred. Watco offers training, career growth, and a strong team environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive company vehicles and equipment
• Minimum of 4–5 years of progressive electrical experience in commercial/industrial/residential settings
• Must hold and maintain a current Journeyman Electrician license
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid TWIC card
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred but not required

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical work in accordance with NEC, OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and local codes
• Identify and diagnose electrical problems using test equipment (multimeters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers)
• Lay out, install, test wiring, conduit, fixtures, panels, transformers, and distribution equipment
• Read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams to complete installations
• Measure and install conduit and pull feeder cables and low-voltage wiring
• Follow safety procedures including LOTO, JHAs, and PPE requirements
• Handle materials up to 80 lbs and work with ladders/scaffolds
• Assist with training apprentices and supervise site tasks
• Perform continuity, voltage, current, and insulation resistance tests
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
