Watco is hiring an Electrician in Houston, TX to install, maintain, test, and repair electrical systems in industrial settings. You will ensure code compliance, safety, and reliability while troubleshooting and mentoring apprentices.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of progressive electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical work in accordance with NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E and local codes.
• Diagnose problems with systems and components using test equipment.
• Lay out, install, and test wiring, conduit, fixtures, and panels; apply load knowledge.
• Read blueprints and schematics to complete installations.
• Measure and install conduit and feeder cables; terminate wiring.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout procedures and wear PPE.
• Handle materials up to 80 lbs; work from ladders and lifts.
• Mentor electrical apprentices and supervise on-site tasks.
• Perform testing to verify energization readiness.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects as directed by leadership.
