Job summary
Knauf Insulation North America is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to keep our plant running safely and efficiently. The role covers installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power distribution, motor controls, PLCs, and combustion equipment across shifts.
A safety-first mindset and strong teamwork are required, with overtime and occasional shift coverage.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of maintenance experience with mechanical equipment in a heavy industrial environment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle operator license.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, control diagrams, ladder logic, and P&IDs.
Responsibilities
- Champion safety by following safe work practices and coaching teammates.
- Install conduit, wiring, and equipment with craftsmanship.
- Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot AC/DC motor control equipment.
- Read electrical power distribution schematics and control diagrams.
- Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs and computer-based control systems.
- Diagnose production equipment issues using software tools and test instruments.
- Coordinate repairs and downtime with production leadership.
