Job summary

Maine Staffing Group in Ashland, ME is hiring an Industrial Electrician to keep our sawmill's automated systems running safely and efficiently. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical equipment including motors, scanners, drives, PLCs, and high/low voltage distributions, on a rotating shift at $24.86 per hour.

Requires 2–5 years of industrial maintenance, an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent apprenticeship, and a strong teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with high/low voltage power distribution and electrical controls.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize sawmill electrical systems.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot motors, scanners, drives, PLCs.
• Collaborate with Production and Maintenance Supervisors on real-time needs.
