Job summary

Vylor Inc. in Illinois is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to ensure operation of process and facility equipment. The role requires Journeyman Electrical experience, NEC knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, maintain detailed equipment records, and drive continuous safety improvements; the position offers health benefits, PTO, parental leave, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical experience.
• Interpret the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Good computer aptitude including Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to work overtime and shifts, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, and inspections.
• Review and assist leaders with the electrical safety program.
• Adhere to safety procedures including OSHA, PSM, and company policies.
• Make recommendations to improve safety and add new devices or hardware.
• Various other duties as assigned.
