Job summary

Vylor is seeking an experienced electrical professional to operate and maintain plant equipment in a 100%-on-site role at Corteva in St. Joseph, Illinois.

You will perform electrical maintenance, safety program support, and system improvements to ensure uptime and compliance with OSHA, PSM, and company procedures. Ideal candidates hold journeyman electrical experience, NEC interpretation skills, a valid driver's license, and strong computer aptitude with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Journeyman electrical experience required.
• Ability to interpret NEC codes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and learn other company tools.
• Willing to work overtime and split shifts including weekends during peak production.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control systems for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Support electrical safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA/PSM and company safety policies.
• Recommend improvements to electrical systems and processes for safety and uptime.
• Collaborate with program leaders and teams as needed.
