Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to install and repair electrical systems on industrial machinery across short-term and seasonal projects at Alaska plants. The role requires a valid Alaska Journeyman license and at least 4 years of experience.

You will travel to Alaska facilities, interpret electrical schematics, and uphold strict safety standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with minimum 4 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for machines and equipment.
• Connects wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus and replaces damaged components.
• Tests machinery and collaborates with maintenance staff to diagnose issues.
• Replaces faulty electrical components and upgrades controls.
• Program and operate automated machinery using PLCs and controllers.
• Plans wiring layouts and installs electrical systems in buildings.
• Travel to Alaska plants for electrical issues as needed.
