Job summary

KEW/TecPro in Alaska seeks a Journeyman Industrial Electrician for current and future projects. Based in Wasilla, you install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment and control systems, reading schematics and wiring diagrams, and providing support to the crew.

You will train apprentices, travel to remote job sites across Alaska, and maintain safe, compliant installations per NEC standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Alaska Certificate of Fitness – Journeyman Level.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial and industrial construction.
• Knowledge of materials and standard install practices, including classified locations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to read/edit drawings and maintain reports.
• Able to travel and work in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical equipment and systems per NEC and project specs in industrial environments.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.
• Install control system equipment and instrumentation for process control.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and ladder diagrams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for pretesting and commissioning.
• Mentor and train apprentices on the job.
