Job summary
Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking an Electrician A to support safe and efficient plant operations by ensuring electrical equipment meets safety and quality standards. The role involves repairing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical systems across the facility, with emphasis on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
You will work with production and maintenance teams to improve reliability, comply with codes, and maintain documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3 years of industrial electrical experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and blueprints.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical repair, maintenance, and construction work using schematics, drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Install, maintain, and repair plant electrical equipment, including diagnosing malfunctions.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing and measuring instruments.
- Install conduit, wire, electrical components, and related equipment per codes and standards.
- Assist in training Electrician B employees.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Follow safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
