Job summary
Modine is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance across the facility, following safety, quality, and operational standards. The role involves repairing machines, wiring, and supporting facility improvements with close collaboration with electricians and fellow technicians.
The position requires a High School diploma or GED, with a technical certification or related degree preferred, and typically 3 years of industrial maintenance
Qualifications
- Requires High School Diploma or GED; technical certification/Apprenticeship/Associate degree preferred in related field.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience with PLCs, electrical systems, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and machine repair on various machines and equipment using hand and power tools.
- Support facility improvements and general repairs.
- Process work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
- Read blueprints to install and repair equipment.
- Collaborate with electricians and other maintenance technicians.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles and overhead hoists as needed.
- Conduct regular maintenance inspections (press, truck, etc.).
- Lay out steam, water, and air lines; report any defects or improper operation.
