Job summary

ProAmpac in Wrightstown, WI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support our packaging operations in a climate-controlled facility. You will perform electrical, mechanical and control-system tasks to keep equipment running smoothly and safely on an early shift (Mon-Fri 6a-2p).

The ideal candidate has electromechanical apprenticeship, 7+ years in manufacturing, PLC troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics experience, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completed an Electromechanical Apprenticeship Program in a manufacturing environment.
• 7+ years of experience in a manufacturing facility or equivalent.
• Experience with PLCs and drives troubleshooting, hydraulics and pneumatics, and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed specifications.
• Understand and apply knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Read technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and fluid measurements with proper tools.
• Assemble, disassemble, repair, or calibrate components per procedures.
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing and repair as needed.
• Source replacement parts and perform repairs; operate cranes and power tools safely.
