Job summary
Silgan Containers Manufacturing Corporation in Plover, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician / PLC Programmer to maintain high-speed manufacturing operations. Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical experience.
- Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
- Strong PLC troubleshooting/programming experience.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs.
- Ability to mentor, train, and provide technical leadership to other electricians.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and electrical compliance.
Responsibilities
- Lead troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex industrial electrical systems.
- Mentor and train entry-level and journeyman electricians.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and support Allen-Bradley PLC systems.
- Oversee and support PLC programming and controls-related work.
- Develop and implement preventative electrical maintenance strategies.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure electrical installations, repairs, and modifications meet safety and compliance requirements.
- Partner with operations and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure proper electrical safety practices.
