Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC, Madison, GA, is hiring an Electrician for our plywood facility. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical distribution and manufacturing equipment, while supporting PLC/DCS systems and performing conduit/wiring tasks.

The role requires adaptability to a hot, dusty industrial environment and adherence to strict safety protocols. The position offers a pay range of $32–$38 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• 1+ year troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• 1+ year in industrial electrical repair, process controls, or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain facility electrical distribution and process equipment.
• Understand, troubleshoot, and modify PLCs and DCS.
• Provide feedback on equipment conditions and corrective actions.
• Install new conduit and wiring; modify existing conduit and wiring.
• Work in a hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environment.
• Operate safely with PPE and adhere to all safety rules.
