Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring an Electrician for our Madison, GA Plywood facility. The role involves troubleshooting, installation and maintenance of electrical distribution and process equipment.

You will work with PLC/DCS systems, read schematics and install conduit while following strict safety rules. We expect 1+ year in manufacturing or industrial settings, with experience in industrial electrical repair and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution and process equipment.
• Understand PLC/DCS and modify as needed for operations.
• Read electrical schematics/blueprints and measure/conduit bending.
• Adhere to safety rules and PPE requirements during shift work.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical distribution and manufacturing process equipment.
• Modify PLC and DCS control logic as needed.
• Install new conduit and wiring; modify existing conduit and wiring.
• Maintain safety compliance; work in hot/cold dusty environments.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.
