Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an experienced Electrician for our Mount Holly plant to provide electrical maintenance support. The role requires diagnosing PLC-driven issues, wiring and conduit installation, and strict adherence to NEC standards.

Qualifications

Four years troubleshooting electrical controls and working with PLCs in an industrial facility.
Safe use of meters and gauges.
Safe installation techniques for power systems wiring, including running conduit.
Full working knowledge of the NEC and power distribution systems.
Journeyman Card preferred or Bona Fide Apprenticeship showing four years of experience.
Ability to work second or third shift.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems for plant equipment using PLC equipment.
Calculate circuit sizes, wire and conduit per NEC.
Provide electrical instruction from prints, sketches and verbally.
Trace and sketch electrical circuit components and their wiring.
Read wiring schematics, ladder diagrams and PLC programs.
Input documentation for PLC programs.
Perform other duties using mechanical knowledge to repair related equipment.
