Job summary

Vylor Inc. is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support operations at the Corteva site in Illinois. You will operate and maintain electrical, control, and instrumentation systems essential to production, troubleshoot issues, and uphold electrical safety standards.

The role requires NEC interpretation, a valid driver's license, and comfort with SAP/work-order systems. Overtime, including weekends and holidays, may be needed to sustain uptime and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician with NEC knowledge and a valid driver\'s license.
• Ability to interpret the NEC and perform electrical repairs and maintenance.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable using Microsoft applications and learning new company software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of company equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections following guidelines and procedures.
• Review and assist program leaders and teams with the electrical safety program to ensure adherence and compliance.
• Adhere to all quality systems and safety procedures including OSHA, PSM, and Corteva safety policies in everyday work.
• Make recommendations for improved safety through electrical programs and/or process changes including new devices or hardware.
• Various other duties as assigned.
