Job summary

Vylor is hiring an Electrician for its Corteva site in St. Joseph, Illinois, to maintain and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation systems critical to production.

The role requires adherence to safety policies and experience with industrial maintenance in a demanding environment. You will work both indoors and outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, and may need to work overtime and weekends during seasonal peaks to support production uptime.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician certification required or preferred.
• Experience with industrial maintenance and electrical safety programs.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operation of equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and inspections.
• Review and assist program leaders with the electrical safety program for compliance.
• Follow safety procedures (OSHA, PSM, Corteva safety) in daily work.
• Recommend improvements to safety through electrical programs or process changes.
• Other duties as assigned.
