Job summary

West Fraser in Leola, AR is seeking an Electrician to join our Maintenance team. You will repair, install, replace, program, and test electrical circuits and equipment across mill operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and strong electrical fundamentals, including 3-phase systems, motor controls, PLC logic, schematics, and test instrumentation. Shift work, nights, holidays, and on-call may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong electrical fundamentals and schematic reading.
• Experience with 3-phase and single-phase power distribution.
• Experience with motor controls and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with PLC logic and test instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical/electronic preventative maintenance on mill equipment.
• Repair, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic equipment.
• Wiring circuits, replacing components, and repairing devices.
• Read tests with multimeters and Megger equipment.
• Maintain safety rules and complete required training.
• Work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, and overtime.
