Job summary
Sika, a global specialty chemicals company, is seeking an Electrical/Maintenance Technician in Missouri. The role focuses on layout, installation and maintenance of industrial process equipment and plant infrastructure, with PLC troubleshooting and modification of programs.
Qualified candidates will have at least 5 years of general maintenance experience, including 3 years electrical, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5 years general maintenance experience with 3 years electrical experience.
- Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Layout, installation and maintenance on a variety of industrial process equipment and plant infrastructure.
- Troubleshoots PLCs and is able to modify programs.
- Inspects machinery to ensure proper operation.
- Orders parts and writes reports as needed.
- Performs welding and supports other specialists.
