Job summary

Gibraltar Building Products in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Electrician A to fabricate, install and repair electrical and electronic systems with minimal downtime.

You will read wiring diagrams, work from schematics, troubleshoot using electrical testing instruments, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards; prior industrial experience and knowledge of PLCs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical experience required; 5+ years preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Wire circuits as directed.
• Follow instructions from Electricians A/B and supervisor.
• Troubleshoot and repair using electrical testing instruments.
• Install and maintain complex automated electrical controls.
• Establish equipment for secondary distribution centers.
• Respond to power failures and diagnose issues.
