Job summary

Summit Service Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term manufacturing role in the York, PA area.

This full-time, first-shift position focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Six years of industrial electrical experience and the ability to read blueprints are required; Journeyman or Master Electrician license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Licensing: Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Must provide basic hand and electrical tools.
• Consent to drug screen and background check; drug-free workplace.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify industrial power distribution systems.
• Install switchgear, transformers, disconnects, MCCs, and distribution panels.
• Run feeders and branch circuits for new manufacturing equipment.
• Verify voltage, phase rotation, and electrical load capacity.
• Connect and commission production machinery.
• Relocate and reconnect existing manufacturing equipment.
• Install motors, VFDs, control panels, and electrical enclosures.
• Run and terminate power and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues to minimize production downtime.
• Install and integrate PLC-controlled equipment and automation systems.
• Wire sensors and field devices; test system communication and signal integrity.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance with NEC, OSHA, LOTO, and GMP.
