Summit Service Solutions, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician for a long-term opportunity at a manufacturing facility in the Lancaster, PA area.

This full-time, first-shift role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment in a fast-paced production environment. Ideal candidates have at least six years in manufacturing environments (plastics, food & beverage, packaging, pharma, etc.), possess the ability to read blueprints,

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must provide basic hand tools.
• Authorized to work in the United States and willing to undergo drug screen/background check.

Responsibilities

• Install and modify industrial power distribution systems.
• Install switchgear, transformers, disconnects, MCCs, and distribution panels.
• Run feeders and branch circuits for new manufacturing equipment.
• Verify voltage, phase rotation, and electrical load capacity.
• Connect and commission production machinery and relocate equipment as needed.
• Install motors, VFDs, control panels, and electrical enclosures.
• Run and terminate power and control wiring.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control systems to minimize downtime.
• Install and integrate PLC-controlled equipment and sensors.
• Follow NEC, OSHA, LOTO, and GMP requirements.
