Job summary

Vylor, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to keep process and facility equipment running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and inspect electrical and related systems, while upholding safety standards and environmental regulations.

The role requires Journeyman Electrician experience and NEC interpretation, with on-site work at Corteva’s St. Joseph location. Competitive benefits, sign-on bonus, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician experience.
• Interpreting the National Electric Code (NEC).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and control equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs, servicing, and inspections per guidelines.
• Support electrical safety program and ensure OSHA/PSM compliance.
• Recommend safety and process improvements including new devices.
• Maintain equipment records and prints as required.
• Willing to work overtime and seasonal weekend shifts.
